A couple of time a week I go for a long walk at the local track and field stadium. I like to listen to podcasts while walking and in particular the LSE public lectures. Here is one I really enjoyed by noble laureate Daniel Kahneman. Part of it, I think, are quite I relevant for our areas of work: evidence policy influence. What does it mean to change or influence changes in behavior? What are we trying to influence? Towards the mid of the podcast Prof. Kahneman speaks of a meeting he recently attended in the US about the link between science and policy and makes clear what he thinks in terms of of scientists influencing policy. Hope you enjoy as well.
